Volume I covers articles 1 to 10 of the Macau Gaming Law. That includes the general provisions (Chapter I), comprising the scope and objectives of the law, several definitions (mutual betting, casinos, games of chance, interactive gaming, operations offered to the public, and gaming promoters), list of authorized games of chance, operation of interactive gaming, operating locations and continuous gaming area, as well as several provisions of the concession regime (Chapter II), about the specifics of the tender to award casino gaming concessions (Section I), namely the casino gaming concession regime, principle of a public tender and call for tender and admission of tenders.
Volume II covers articles 11 to 21 of the Macau Gaming Law. That includes the provisions of the concession regime (Chapter II), about the specifics of the tender to award casino gaming concessions (Section I) not covered by Volume I - comprising the award of casino gaming concessions, appeals, concession term, suitability, financial capacity, and confidentiality of the bidding processes, as well as several provisions of the concession regime (Chapter II), details about the casino gaming concessionaires (Section II) namely the share capital and shares, the prohibition of accumulation of functions in governing bodies, Managing Director, annual premium payment, and prohibition of restrictive practices.
